Madalyn Shebek, AuD CCC-A

Madalyn Shebek received her Doctorate of Audiology Degree from the University of Iowa in May of 2023. Throughout her graduate education, she completed an internship at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon and spent her externship year at Boston Children's Hospital. During her externship, Dr. Shebek also completed a LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities) fellowship that included a research project on "Clinical Indicators and Time Course for Amplification Fitting in Children with Down Syndrome."

Prior to coming to Iowa Ear Center, Dr. Shebek was a pediatric audiologist at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. Dr. Shebek and her husband, Austin, were recently married in May and they share their home with their golden retriever, Sully, and cat, Roo.
