Lisa Anderson, MS CCC-SLP
Lisa Anderson MS CCC-SLP LSLS Cert. AVT is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, Certified Auditory Verbal Therapist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from North Carolina State University as well as a master’s degree in Speech-Language and Auditory Pathology from East Carolina University.
Lisa is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She received the ASHA ACE Award in 2021 and 2023 for exceptional commitment to continuing education. She currently serves on the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EDHI) board. She is PROMPT trained (Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets).
Lisa provides therapy to infants, toddlers, elementary age, adolescents, and adults with cochlear implant(s) and/or hearing aid(s). She specializes in providing therapy services to children with hearing loss and coaching their families to promote language development through listening. When not in the office, she enjoys Pilates, reading, and spending time with her family.
