Diana Hanson, MS CCC-A
Director of Audiology
Diana Hanson is the Director of Audiology for Iowa Ear Center. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and her master’s in audiology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She received her certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, for which she is still a member. In 2022 and 2023, Diana was voted Best Audiologist by Cityview Magazine.
Diana specializes in working with pediatric patients, including providing hearing aid and cochlear implant services. She is well known in the state of Iowa for diagnosing pediatric hearing loss using both behavioral testing and sedated and unsedated auditory brainstem evoked response (ABR) testing.
When not in the office, Diana enjoys reading, golfing and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She is an avid Iowa Hawkeye sports fan and attends football and basketball games when possible.
