Emily Goetz, AuD CCC-A
Emmi Goetz received her Bachelor of Health Science in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Missouri in 2016. She received her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) from the University of Iowa in 2020, and also has her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She developed a passion for teaching over eight semesters of teaching experience and was awarded an "Outstanding TA Award" from the University of Iowa in 2016. Originally from Mason City, Iowa. Emmi joined the Iowa Ear Center team in June 2020. Her main areas of interest include pediatric diagnostics, hearing aids, and cochlear implants, although she enjoys working with patients of all ages.
In her free time, she enjoys learning ASL and spending time with her puppies, Woodford and Betty Lou, spending time with her husband, Abe, and exploring all of the beautiful parks in Des Moines.
